You will have up to 2 years’ experience and knowledge of being a manual underwriter and will get excited by the thought of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the ability to work under pressure and to clearly defined deadlines is paramount.
You will be university educated and comfortable working to a structured, hardworking routine. Apart from being commercially driven, common sense is essential to succeeding in this role and company.
This position will be reporting to the Credit Operations Manager.
You will initially be responsible for executing the underwriting process in line with company credit policy and to the satisfaction of the Credit Operations Manager. You will also undertake some customer service responsibilities responding to general queries from their Customers. The role has scope to broaden its responsibilities into managing the customer experience and journey and to assist in the management of borrowers experiencing financial difficulties.
Not only will you execute the credit policy framework but also provide feedback to the management team to offer improvements in the customer journey and overall customer experience.
As the company develops there is significant scope for the preferred candidate to take broader responsibility for the borrower experience and interface with the commercial side of the business.
