The firm is a market-leader for audio-visual equipment hire and staging-production across both the UK and Europe offering a creative and complete technical solution to the Association, Conference and Events industry.

Main Responsibilities of the Role

The role reports into the Operations Director and the candidate will work closely with a small dynamic team. Main responsibilities will be set-up and operation of AV equipment, IT systems, projection, standard lighting, sound systems, stage sets and general rigging at corporate events of varying sizes throughout the UK and Europe on occasion. Events and projects will range from conferences/seminars, product launches, black tie award ceremonies and dinners, venue equipment hire and special events. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of vision, LED screens, switching, live video and playback and audio systems including digital mixing desks.

The Ideal Candidate

A minimum of 3 years’ solid technical event experience is required having worked on a wide range of corporate live events. Ideally a good all round understanding of all areas of production from AV – filming/editing – IT Support is required. From a personality point of view we are looking for fun, friendly and a real team player with a genuine passion for top quality production.   • – Rigging and operating equipment for events, particularly vision and audio
  • – Deal and liaise with clients, suppliers, venue staff and crew onsite and prior to event
  • – Ensure a flawless event is delivered exceeding client expectations

  • – Prepare and maintain equipment
  • – Represent the company in an exemplary manner
  • – Previous experience as a live events AV technician
  • – Strong understanding of a range of vision and audio systems
  • – Excellent IT skills, PowerPoint, Keynote software and other
  • – Excellent communication skills
  • – Excellent standard of personal presentation
  • – Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
  • – Able to work to deadlines and thrive under pressure
  • – Excellent attention to detail
  • – Self-motivated and able to lead by example
  • – Flexible approach with a can do attitude
  • – Full UK Driving License
  • – Valid Passport
  • – Experience with edge blend projection and media servers an advantage but not essential
